The “Go To Travel Campaign” is to support up to half of the price when making a domestic travel reservation within the campaign period through a travel agency or travel reservation site. The maximum amount of support is planned to be up to 20,000 yen per person per night, and up to 10,000 yen for a day trip. (Not applicable to overseas travel It is Only in Japan)
70% of the amount of support will be given as a discount on travel costs, and the remaining 30% will be given as a “regional common coupon” that can be used when purchasing local food and drinks, tourist facilities, and local souvenirs.
From here, let’s take a closer look at the “Regional Coupons” that can be used for trips departing after October 1st.
■ Subsidy amount
15% of the travel price will be distributed as a “regional coupon”. If a fraction of less than 1,000 yen appears, it will be rounded off (example: fraction of 500 yen or more ⇒ 1,000 yen), the upper limit is 6,000 yen per person per night, and a day trip is 3,000 yen.

How much can you save on your trip with the Go To Travel Campaign? I will introduce it as a concrete example based on the information that is known at the moment.
For example, if you book a package tour of 40,000 yen for 2 days and 1 night via a travel agency, you will receive 20,000 yen, which is half the price. Of the 20,000 yen, 14,000 yen, which is 70%, will be discounted from the travel price, and the remaining 6,000 yen will be given with a regional coupon.
If you book a tour of 50,000 yen for 2 days and 1 night, half of the travel price is 25,000 yen, but the amount of support is 20,000 yen, which is the upper limit of 1 night. However, in the case of a tour of 50,000 yen for 2 nights and 3 days, support will be provided for each night, so 25,000 yen per night (calculated by dividing the travel amount by the number of nights), half the price of 12,500 yen x 2 nights 25,000 yen will be supported.
The maximum amount of support for a day trip is 10,000 yen. If you participate in a day trip bus tour of 8,000 yen, the amount of support will be 4,000 yen, which is half the price, 70% of which, 2,800 yen, will be discounted from the tour price, and the remaining 1,000 yen will be given with a regional coupon. Become. (Coupons are issued in units of 1,000 yen, rounded to the nearest 1,000 yen)
